Welcome to Desire, a captivating café nestled in the heart of Tsamadou, Pilos, Greece. This charming establishment is not just a café; it's a delightful escape where music, breathtaking views, and satisfying snacks come together to create a memorable experience.

Just a stroll away from the picturesque Pylos harbour, Desire offers an inviting ambiance that enhances every sip and bite. The café is especially adored for its blend of pop and rock music that adds a lively backdrop to your visit. Many locals and travelers alike find it perfect for a quick stop before and after exploring the beautiful bay.

The menu at Desire is a delightful mix of familiar café fare. Guests rave about the club sandwich—a hearty option that delivers both flavor and satisfaction. Pair your meal with a freshly brewed cappuccino or a zesty orange juice as you bask in the scenic views of the harbour. The prices are refreshingly reasonable, too; as one satisfied customer noted, you can enjoy a light meal and drinks for under 17 euros, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers.

What truly sets Desire apart is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff's friendliness doesn't go unnoticed, with many reviews highlighting their attentiveness and genuine smiles. Customers like Mathew Green have repeatedly returned to Desire for its welcoming vibe even during the chillier months. Whether you're seeking a lively place to recharge or a quiet nook to enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee, you’ll find it here.

One delightful experience shared by Šárka Prokůpková reveals how captivating this café can be. Imagine yourself sinking into a comfortable chair, savoring delicious pancakes and perfectly brewed coffee while indulging in quiet conversation or simply soaking in the lovely atmosphere. The café's ability to make you feel at home is a mark of its intrinsic charm.

However, it's worth mentioning that not every dish has hit the mark for every visitor. One review noted some inconsistencies in the food, suggesting that while Desire shines with its friendly service and pleasant environment, there’s potential for improvement in food presentation. Nonetheless, it remains a favored spot for a casual meal or a refreshing drink.

Whether you’re just stopping by for a snack before your boat trip or looking to unwind after a long day of adventuring, Desire provides a cozy reprieve with delightful views and a warm ambience. If you find yourself in Tsamadou, don’t miss the chance to pop into this local gem—you might just discover your new favorite hangout.

Great place to pop in for a drink or a snack if you like pop/rock music. We dropped in for a snack before a boat trip round the bay and orange juice, cappuccino and toasted snack for two came to less than 17 euros which is not bad considering its prime location overlooking the harbour.

After a long drive, we decided to stop here for a quick bite and a drink. The club sandwich was good and the coffee nice. Great views of Pylos harbour and beyond. The service was friendly and the toilets clean and stocked. There is free parking across the shop. If you believe this review has been helpful for you, please don’t forget to press the button. Thank you

Loved this coffee place I think I was sitting there for 3 hours, sipping coffee and eating delicious pancakes. The waitress was lovely and spoke very good English!

A friendly spot that’s popular with locals. The food was okay, but nothing spectacular. My Caesar salad came with far too much dressing and was served with chicken nuggets instead of grilled chicken. The club sandwich was better, though it still had the same heavy sauce. Friendly service all around - it’s a good spot for a quick break along the way.
